The Hoppen Group is one of Adelaide’s most prestigious residential developers, sought-after by discerning Clients for creating thoughtful and meticulously designed homes.

We were invited to collaborate on their latest project in Kensington Gardens with the goal of seamlessly blending residential development with bespoke interior design.

You can find out more here:

Informed by our design philosophy of refined simplicity, Kensington Gardens has a single-floor open layout with high ceilings to support easy family living.

Textured neutral materials and finishes were carefully chosen and applied. The interior includes chalk-white & wenge-black joinery, both matched with handmade ivory splashback tiles.

A flow-through herringbone patterned timber floor is reminiscent of a Parisian apartment.

In the powder room, Gucci’s Tian print wallpaper features a contemporary floral motif inspired by Chinese landscapes depicted on 18th-century tapestries and screens.

In the open plan living area, a hand-pressed Arrotato Cotto Brick made from natural clay and kiln-fired by Italian artisans was applied to the fireplace surround to showcase the complex colour palette of classic terracotta and to add depth and warmth.

Pompeii travertine & calacatta marble tiling were chosen for the bathrooms to further enhance the bespoke character of the interior.

The furnishings feature a blend of fine bespoke materials, including quilted velvet bedheads, linen sofas dressed with Tibetan sheepskin cushions and Carrara marble & travertine solid stone occasional tables.

The central wine room has been designed with textured monochromatic materials and finishes. It incorporates functional storage with an integrated lighting scheme for subtle effect.

To affirm the lifestyle choices of our clients, we have curated a bespoke offering of wine with Penfold’s, one of the world’s most celebrated wineries.

Throughout the interior, the natural light is reflected with glass and mirror.

Arched details are incorporated into various elements, including bathroom mirrors, arched glass screens and Tondo Indoor Freestanding Mirrors from DOMO Collections, adding a final decorative touch for sophisticated and beautiful living.
